Argyle TV | What's On This Week
There may not be a fixture in midweek, but it’s another few days chock-full of content for Argyle TV subscribers.
On Monday, Matchday Moments and Tunnel Cam takes us behind the scenes of our fractious 3-0 victory over Accrington Stanley – which preserved the Greens’ 100 per cent record at Home Park in league football, and kept Argyle top of the Sky Bet League One table.
The following evening, we switch our focus from the current crop of Argyle talent to one of the finest midfielders to have graced the Home Park pitch in recent times. After Hungarian central defender Krisztian Timar’s appearance on Argyle TV last week, Akos Buzsaky joins us for a special video episode of The Argyle Podcast.
It’s a feature not to be missed, with Argyle’s very own magnificent Magyar sharing stories of a loan move from FC Porto made permanent in 2005, and how his time in Plymouth proved to be the platform for a career that went to the very top.
On Wednesday, we get to know the newest addition to the ranks at Home Park, goalkeeper Adam Parkes, who joined the Pilgrims as a free agent last week following long spells in the development squads at Southampton and Watford.
One player who Parkes will get to know well during his stay in Devon is fellow goalkeeper Callum Burton, who is next to share his Firsts, Bests, and Lasts with us on Thursday, alongside build up to Saturday’s Sky Bet League One trip to Milton Keynes Dons. Manager Steven Schumacher and wing-back Bali Mumba will face the Argyle TV cameras as part of press duties.
The Greens are blazing a trail at the top of League One, and long may it continue. On Friday, Argyle TV subscribers are invited behind the curtain to see the methods behind a cracking start to the season in the latest edition of Inside Training.
On Saturday, Charlie Price will build up to the clash at Stadium MK with a free pre-match show on our YouTube channel from 2pm, before action gets underway at 3pm. Overseas supporters can enjoy live video streaming of the tie in Buckinghamshire, while UK-based members of the Green Army can access live audio commentary for £2.50, or as part of their Argyle TV subscriptions.
Post-match, manager Steven Schumacher and selected squad members’ reaction is available first on Argyle TV, before the extended highlights and full match replay from another crucial fixture become available for subscribers from the early hours of Sunday morning.
