Argyle TV | What's On This Week
With the Greens soaring to the top of the Sky Bet League One table after a stunning come-from-behind victory over Ipswich Town on Sunday lunchtime, supporters will be delighted to know this week’s Argyle TV schedule is packed full of exclusive behind the scenes content.
Kicking off with Matchday Moments - everyone’s favourite alternative look at the action - on Monday afternoon, we also take you into the Argyle dressing room to see how Steven Schumacher’s squad reacted to a thrilling victory in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
On Tuesday evening, premiering at 7pm, in-form striker Niall Ennis becomes a manager as he selects a five-a-side team, exclusively from squads he has played in during his career. It’s a tough category to pick from, with Ennis having played for England at under-17, under-18, and under-19 level while coming up through the ranks at Premier League side Wolves. Do any of his Argyle teammates make the cut?
On Wednesday, at 7pm, an in-depth feature with defender Macaulay Gillesphey takes us through his Story so Far. The Ashington-born centre-back shares his unique career journey with us, which took him from Newcastle United to Brisbane in Australia, via Carlisle, before returning to the UK to head home one of Argyle’s most rewatched goals at Stamford Bridge earlier this year.
On Thursday, attention turns to the weekend’s matches, with Schumacher and members of his first-team squad joining Argyle TV to preview the Sky Bet League One trip to Wycombe Wanderers – as well as under-18s manager Darren Way previewing the young Pilgrims’ trip to Bristol Rovers.
Topping off a bumper Thursday of content, Niall Ennis brings us inside the dressing room to deliver the news of the latest EA Sports FIFA 23 player ratings to the squad – there are a range of reactions, from pure rage at a reduction in overall stats, to hilarity as Matt Butcher’s pace rating is critiqued by Danny Mayor.
On Friday, Inside Training returns, with Charlie Rose and his camera taking subscribers closer than ever before to preparations for the weekend.
Of course, on Saturday, Argyle TV will be bringing supporters all the action, live and exclusive, as the Pilgrims look to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Charlie Price will bring a free and live pre-match show to supporters on the club’s YouTube channel at 2pm, before live commentary for UK subscribers and match pass holders kicks in just before kick off in Buckinghamshire. Meanwhile, overseas subscribers and match pass holders can enjoy live video coverage of the tie at Adams Park.
Post-match, Argyle TV subscribers will hear full reaction from manager Steven Schumacher and selected players first, while extended highlights and the full match replay become available to all subscribers from 1am on Sunday.
There has never been a better time to sign up to Argyle TV, for as little as £4.50 per month, and enjoy the raft of features and new content being produced daily at Home Park.
