Argyle Stars Turn Out for Christmas Cracker
The entire Argyle first team squad were in attendance at Manadon Sports Hub on Tuesday night, inspiring Plymouth youngsters in Argyle Community Trust's annual Christmas Cracker event.
A special event to kick off the Trust's ever-popular Christmas Roadshows, the evening's entertainment was fully booked, with 250 young boys and girls experiencing the wonder of playing football alongside their heroes on the centre's all-weather pitch.
The event is a highlight of the calendar for both club and community, and there was no stopping Argyle players getting involved - even Conor Grant, who decided to join the group at Manadon on crutches while recovering from thigh surgery.
It was a real family event, and that extended to the Pilgrims, where children of club staff, including manager Steven Schumacher, participated in the games.
Once the outdoor activity was complete, guests were invited into the warm of the Manadon Sports Hub facilities to meet and greet the squad, who provided signed autographs and posed for photos.
Argyle Community Trust Christmas Roadshows - including a special event with Argyle Women which runs for the first time this year - takes place throughout the festive schedule in Devon and Cornwall, and are available to book now. Click here for more information or to book.
