Argyle to Play Hearts in Spain

In an addition to the Pilgrims’ pre-season fixture schedule, Argyle will take on Heart of Midlothian during their training camp in Spain.  

Both clubs will be in the Costa Del Sol during preparations for the upcoming season and have agreed to meet at Marbella Football Centre on Thursday, 6 July, at 6pm.

Hearts, who are managed by Steven Naismith, finished fourth in the cinch Scottish Premiership in 2022/23, and will be Argyle’s first opponents as the Greens build up to a season in the Sky Bet Championship.

The game will be open to supporters. Further details will be shared nearer the time.

Argyle last played Hearts in pre-season in 2009, when Paul Sturrock’s Pilgrims drew 0-0 with the Edinburgh side at Home Park.
