Argyle v Liverpool

Argyle to host Liverpool in Emirates FA Cup fourth round

Argyle have been drawn at home to Liverpool in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The Greens’ reward for beating Brentford 1-0 on Saturday – the first Argyle win against a top-flight side in the competition since 1984 - is a home tie against the team top of the Premier League, and one of the most famous clubs on the planet.

It is eight years since Argyle were drawn against the Reds in the competition. On that occasion, Derek Adams’ Pilgrims, then a Sky Bet League Two side, battled to a famous 0-0 draw, before narrowly losing 1-0 at Home Park.

The Theatre of Greens now gets to play host another huge occasion against Liverpool.

Fourth-round ties are scheduled to be played between 6-10 February. We will confirm the exact date and ticket information as soon as we are able.
