Argyle to face Orlando Pirates in Marbella

Argyle will face Orlando Pirates in a friendly, during their pre-season training camp in Marbella. 

The Pilgrims are set to head out to Costa del Sol from 7-16 July and will meet the South African Premier Division side on the 12th. 

Orlando Pirates finished second last season and provide the first pre-season opposition for Wayne Rooney’s team, as they get ready for another year in the Sky Bet Championship. 

The match will take place at the Banús Football Center on Friday, 12 July, with a 7pm kick-off (CEST), and Argyle fans are welcome to attend. Admission is free, with a total capacity of 1,000. 

There will also be an opportunity for supporters to watch the side be put through their paces in an open training session taking place on Thursday, 11 July.
