Academy wear odd socks for Anti Bullying Week
Stars of the Argyle Academy marked Anti-Bullying Week by wearing odd socks in training throughout the week.
Anti-Bullying Week is a nationwide initiative that highlights the issue of bullying and encourages individuals to take action against it.
It emphasizes the importance of fostering a culture of respect and support, where bullying is not tolerated, and every person is valued. Something we live by every day at Plymouth Argyle.
Designated Safeguarding Officer, Rhiannon Foote, said: "Anti-Bullying Week is vital in highlighting the important message about the issue of bullying and Argyle are proud to enforce these messages that the players will also hear in school.
"Mutual respect and effective teamwork are key to footballing success, both on and off the pitch.
"It is vital that all our participants are and feel safe and can speak up about issues that are bothering them. This is enforced by continued awareness for both coaches and players."
