Chairman Home for Crewe
ARGYLE chairman Simon Hallett is back from his America base for the weekend visit of Crewe Alexandra in Sky Bet League Two.
Manager Ryan Lowe is naturally in regular contact with Simon, as well as chief executive Andrew Parkinson, club secretary Zac Newton and director of football Neil Dewsnip, to discuss all things Pilgrim.
The Mayflower Grandstand is now fully operational and delivering a fantastic match-day experience for the Green Army, so it will be great to have Simon and Jane inside the Theatre of Greens and enjoying the house they built.
“We speak all the time and not always about football,” said Ryan. “He’s over in America and always asking after my family, and it’s a good relationship that we’ve got.
“I speak to Andrew, Zac and Neil on a daily basis, so we’re fine. We’ll hopefully have a beer on Saturday and he’s excited about the project that is going on here.
“He is doing fantastic for the football club and the area, and he wants us to be known as the best around. It’s what we’re all trying to achieve and I think he and Jane just love it, they’ve got that real excitement to be back here.”
