THERE was one thing missing from Argyle’s 2-1 victory over Bradford City in Sky Bet League Two, three points secured thanks to goals from Byron Moore and new-dad Joe Edwards.

While Joe was happy to have inked his name on the score-sheet for the third time this season, his first in front of the Green Army, he was so caught up in the euphoria of the strike that he forgot to dedicate that moment to his twin boys, Archie and Louie, who were born on October 28.

“I’m pleased with the goal. It’s something that I can dedicate to my two boys, who were born recently,” said Joe.

“I did have something planned [in celebration of the twins] but I forgot to celebrate because I was so excited. Danny [Mayor] grabbed me, so I can only apologise to my missus for not doing it.”
