Results From Resilience
AHEAD of Bradford City’s visit to Home Park in Sky Bet League Two today, Argyle boss Ryan Lowe has called for resilience from his side in an effort to continue their recent good form.
“We’ve lost one at home in the league all season and we just want to continue that form,” said Ryan. “We know it’s going to be a tough ask as Bradford are a good side, but we will do what we do, play the way we play and be resilient.
“Added with the strength and power we have displayed as of late, I fancy us to get a result.”
Ryan has emphasised how his side are indeed in good form, but stressed that every player needs to dig in and work hard to continue the positive run.
“What I am seeing is resilience, the boys want to fight for every ball and stay in the team,” he said. “To play our football, we have to do all the dogged bits too.
“As I always say, it’s the work paying off, especially on the training pitch. The lads are buying into my philosophy and style of play, along with what I expect from them.
“We are in good form, but you are not going to win every game. I’d love to win every game, but you can’t. Sometimes we may play teams off the park, but not always get the right result but, vice versa, we may not play our best but get a result. All we are trying to do is be the best we can be on the day.
“We know it’s going to be a tough game, they [Bradford] can play football, they can hustle and bustle, too. They will be coming here trying to win. It will be an entertaining game.”
