Alex Palmer Joins
GOALKEEPER Alex Palmer has become the Pilgrims’ latest summer signing.
The 22-year-old West Bromwich Albion custodian comes to Home Park on a season-long loan.
A graduate of the Hawthorns’ Academy, Kidderminster-born Alex has featured on the bench for the Baggies’ first team on several occasions and has captained their Under-23 side.
The England Youth international has played twice in the EFL, on short-term emergency loans with League Two sides Oldham Athletic and Notts County last season.
Alex will go straight into the Pilgrims' squad for Tuesday evening’s pre-season friendly at Argyle’s Vanarama National League neighbours Torquay United.
Welcome to Home Park, Alex.
Alex is sponsored by PADSA, the Plymouth Argyle Disabled Supporters Association, for Argyle supporters who are disabled or have additional needs and their carers.
