Pilgrims in Concert

THERE will be some first-team involvement for tonight’s traditional Carol Concert at Home Park.

Assistant manager Steven Schumacher and first-team coach Kevin Nancekivell will be joined by Scott Wootton and Conor Grant in celebrating Christmas at the Theatre of Greens.

The popular concert, featuring your favourite carols and the retelling of the original Christmas story, was thrown into a wee bit of doubt after originally being scheduled for the same day that we are now playing Bristol Rovers in our Emirates FA Cup second-round replay.

However, in the spirit of the season, we have jumped through a few hoops and are delighted to be able to continue the much-loved annual community event.

The Plymouth Youth Concert Band will again be back to lead our singing; expect some appearances from a variety of Argyle personalities; and there are rumours that Father Christmas will make a special appearance, too.

The concert starts at 7pm at the Devonport end of Home Park, with doors opening at 6.30.
