EFL Youth Cup

ARGYLE’S Academy youngsters face a second successive trip to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, as we take on the Cherries in the EFL Youth Cup Area Quarter-Final.

The Pilgrims fielded a side packed with under-15s and under-16s last weekend, with the majority of apprentices deployed in the Premier League Cup fixture against Fulham on the Friday evening.

Argyle went down 4-0 on that visit to Bournemouth but tomorrow’s encounter will be a completely clean slate and the Greens can take confidence from a dramatic win in the previous round of this competition, eventually edging past Forest Green Rovers on penalties.
