Argyle @ Northampton - the Line-Up

ARGYLE manager Ryan Lowe reverted to the starting 11 that beat Walsall 3-0 a week earlier for the Pilgrims' Sky Bet League Two visit to Northampton Town.

Goalkeeper Alex Palmer, defenders Joe Riley and Gary Sawyer, and midfielder Conor Grant returned to the side after being named as substitutes in the midweek Carabao Cup second-round tie against Championship Reading.

Mike Cooper, Joe Riley, Josh Grant, man of the match in the 4-2 defeat Home Park, and Jose Baxter, scorer of Argyle's second goal, swapped places.

They were joined on the substitutes' bench new loan signing from Peterborough United, midfielder George Cooper.

Northampton, looking for their first home league win of the campaign, included Nicky Adams, part of the Bury side that won promotion under Ryan Lowe last season.
