Great Scott
SCOTT Wootton has become Derek Adams' latest summer signings.
The 26-year-old centre back, with pedigree from Liverpool and Manchester United, is the ninth player to head to Home Park over the summer months.
Scott's career started at Tranmere Rovers before he moved on to Anfield at age 13. By 16, he was a Red Devil, and would go to captain United's Academy, and claim a regular place in their reserve team.
Wootton headed for loan spells at Tranmere, Nottingham Forrest, and two spells at Peterborough United, as well as playing Gary Neville's Old Trafford Testimonial Match, before he switched across the Pennines to Leeds.
Three years at Elland Road - and a short stop at Rotherham United - later, the defender played last season for Milton Keynes, before being free for Derek to snap up for Argyle.
Welcome, Scott.
