Reserves v Taunton

AN Argyle reserve team was beaten 5-0 by Taunton Town in a pre-season game at Wordsworth Drive on Tuesday.

The Evo-Stik League South Premier South side took the lead in the third minute and never looked back.

They were 3-0 up at half-time and added two more goals after the break.

Reserve team coach Robbie Herrera said: “We didn’t compete, and we gave away cheap goals.

“We had few chances to get back into the match, but we didn’t take them.”
