Floodlights

A GOOD number of supporters have contacted us following Tuesday night's match against Wycombe Wanderers to raise concerns about the brightness of the Home Park floodlighting.

As a result, the club will be carrying out an examination of the lighting to determine what remedial action needs to be taken.

Our first evening match of the 2018-19 season saw new floodlights at the Barn Park end of Home Park in use for the first time.

The lights have replaced ones which have been removed to facilitate the redevelopment of the main grandstand.

Unfortunately, supporters in the Devonport end had a problem with the strength and direction of the lighting and several have been in touch to tell us.

We appreciate the feedback and, as a result, we will carry out tests when the lights are next used, at our Under-23  Premier League Cup tie against Portsmouth on Tuesday, September 4.

The Devonport end is closed to spectators that evening, with spectators limited to the central blocks of the Lyndhurst Road stand.

Season-Ticket holders will be admitted free to the match, which kicks off at 7pm, with other ticket prices: £5 adult, £3 concessions, £1 1886 Members.

Further details to follow.
