Peninsula Report - Wendron 0 Argyle 4

THE penultimate game of the Peninsula season was won in style by Argyle after a dominant first-half display against visiting Wendron United.

Matt Ward broke the deadlock on 10 minutes and the lead was doubled when Connor McCauley finished off a flowing move with a rifled finish.
 
Luke Jephcott added a fine third, lashing an unstoppable drive into the top corner and Cameron Sangster joined the party after the break with a sublime curling finish.
 
It was particularly impressive from the Pilgrims, who had four 16-year-olds in the side, and the youngsters complete their campaign on Saturday at home to Illogan RBL, with an 11.30am kick-off at Seale-Hayne.
