Peninsula Report - Wadebridge 1 Argyle 1

A NIGHT of frustration and missed chances cost Argyle’s young side in the Peninsula League at lowly Wadebridge.

The Pilgrims dominated for long periods of the game, particularly in the first half, but a number of chances were spurned by a combination of good goalkeeping and a lack of composure in front of goal.

Tyler Harvey did eventually open the scoring with a penalty on 35 minutes but there was always a danger of conceding on the counter as long as the margin remained just one goal, and Wadebridge duly levelled with a scrappy effort from Adam Paterson five minutes from time.

Argyle have to quickly dust off any lingering frustration for the tough trip to leaders Mousehole on Saturday.
