PLYMOUTH Argyle were made to work very hard before scoring two second-half goals to overcome a stubborn Millbrook side at Seale Hayne.

The visitors defied their lowly league position with a well-organised performance to thwart the Pilgrims, who passed the ball nicely in the first period without finding their cutting edge.
 
The deadlock was finally broken when a whipped free-kick from Sam Ryan evaded everyone to nestle in the far corner and Millbrook’s brave resistance came to an end when Alex Fletcher added the second.
