Peninsula Report - Argyle 3 - Mousehole 1

A DOMINANT display full of quality gave Argyle an excellent 3-1 win over table-topping Mousehole in the Peninsula League.

The visitors arrived at Seale-Hayne with an impressive record of 11 wins from 11 outings but they were immediately under pressure from a high-tempo performance by the Greens.

The only surprise at half-time was the lead stood at just 1-0, thanks to a Ryan Lane strike. Louis Rooney soon gave the Pilgrims a more comfortable cushion with a customary accomplished finish, before Lane added a superb third, dancing through the Mousehole team for a brilliant individual effort. Max Davies scored a late consolation for the visitors.
