El of a Start

ARGYLE'S pre-season campaign will kick off at Haye Road, Elburton, as Derek Adams takes the first steps in making this team his own.

He will be in the dugout for the first time as the Pilgrims meet Elburton Villa of the South West Peninsula League on Tuesday, July 14, at 7.30pm. 

Established in 1982, Elburton Villa are the third highest ranked club in Plymouth behind Argyle and fellow Peninsula League club Plymouth Parkway. When Argyle faced Villa in 2013's pre-season campaign the Pilgrims won 3-0, with Matt Lecointe, Marvin Morgan and Reuben all scoring. Like Argyle, Elburton are sponsored by LTC Powered Access. 

Audio commentary of the game will be broadcast live on the new Argyle Player HD. The Argyle Player service has undergone an overhaul in the summer greatly improving the product. For existing members, we recommend logging in ahead of time to familiarise yourself with the new log-in system and structure before tuning in to the game, in case of any initial issues. We will also bring you video highlights of the game later in the week.

Buses travel from Royal Parade to Elburton - look for Citybus 5 or 5a. For those driving, the postcode of the ground is PL9 8HS. On site, though, parking is for players, club staff and officials only. All supporters are advised to park in the surrounding areas or make other arrangements to get to Haye Road.

The bar and canteen will be open providing hot and cold refreshments before, during and after the match. A programme and 50/50 draw tickets will be available to purchase on the gate.
