Lancashire-based Toner, 30, will officiate only his second game at this level having taken charge of York’s 1-1 draw with Burton back in January. Therefore, he has never officiated an Argyle game before, although he was a linesman in our 4-0 away win at Fleetwood back in February 2014.

In the 23 games that Toner took charge of last season, the 30-year-old shown 55 yellow cards and three red cards, including two red cards in Macclesfield’s 2-0 win over Dartford back in April as both sides ended the game with ten men.
