Ultimate Motivation
12th April 2015
JOHN Sheridan has more or less got his motivational team-talks down to one word: Wembley.
The Argyle manager believes that the possibility of representing the Pilgrims at the home of football in the Sky Bet League 2 play-off final should be all that is required to inspire them for the final four league matches of the season, starting with the midweek visit of Wimbledon.
John said: “I told them before the game: ‘In three or four weeks’ time, you could be playing at Wembley with 40,000 of our supporters there.’
“It’s something to aim for, us as a club and the players. Half this division are playing for nothing; we’re playing for something. We have got to stay focused and take it into the game on Tuesday.”
