Pair Offered Pro Deal

ARGYLE have offered a professional contract to two of this year's second-year apprentices, midfielder River Allen and defender Aaron Bentley.

River is from Ernesettle in Plymouth and is a former student at Marine Academy. He first signed Centre of Excellence forms in October 2006 at the age of 11. Having originally played for Tamarside FC (now Marine Academy), River represented Plymouth schools Under-11s and Under-15s. He made a number of appearances for our Under-18s while still a schoolboy.

Aaron is a former St Boniface College student. Originally spotted playing for Tamerton Foliet as a 14-year-old in June 2010, Aaron - nicknamed 'Rodney' by his peers - also played for Plymouth schools Under-11s and Under-15s.

Kieran Asumadu-Sakyi, Josh Hutchinson, Nathan Summers and Sol Wheatley have not been offered a professional contract.
