Tope's Return
20th February 2014
TOPE Obadeyi has re-signed for Argyle on loan.
The 24-year-old, who can play up front or in an attacking wide role, will be available for this Saturday's away game at Dagenham & Redbridge. He will remain at Argyle for the maximum loan spell allowed at this stage, meaning he will return to his parent club after the home game with Exeter City on March 25.Tope played ten games for the Pilgrims on-loan from Bury earlier in the season, scoring one goal. Before Argyle could extend his loan spell, though, he was recalled to Gigg Lane as new manager David Flitcroft wanted to run the rule over the player.
He has now been allowed to renew acquaintance with Argyle and with John Sheridan, who also had the former England Youth international on loan during his time at Chesterfield.
Tope will wear squad number 28.
