Charles the Ref

CHARLES Breakspear is the referee for this Saturday's game against York City.

He has refereed Argyle on only one previous occasion, but it was a happy one for the Pilgrims. Charles was the man in the middle in August 2013 when Argyle cruised to a 3-1 victory at Cheltenham Town. He cautioned five players in the game, including three Pilgrims - Branston, Blizzard and Boco.

In his first season as a Football League official, Mr Breakspear has taken charge of 17 games this campaign, in which he has made 66 cautions. He has sent off five players - three of them straight red cards - and given six penalties. We welcome him for his first visit to Home Park.
