Kevin in the Middle

KEVIN Johnson is the referee for Tuesday's match against Stevenage at Home Park.

Bristolian whistler Kevin is a new addition to the line-up of Football League referees for 2014-15. The 37-year-old has experience of running the line in League fixtures, but when he took charge of Tranmere v York on the opening weekend of the season, that was his first time in the middle at this level.

That game finished 1-1, with Johnson booking one player. Following that, he was in charge of Cheltenham's 2-1 win over Accrington, issuing four cautions.
