Jeans For Greens Update
28th November 2013
WE have had a terrific response to our 'Jeans For Greens' campaign which was launched at the home game against Northampton.
The scheme, where we invite you to donate unwanted clothing items for a good cause and to benefit Argyle, will continue for the remainder of the season. We will have a non match-day collection point located in both the Club Superstore and at Main Reception at Home ParkArgyle have teamed up with a local recycling company, who will compensate the club for any donations made to them. Your contributions will not only benefit the club financially, but will be distributed to people around the world who will greatly appreciate them.
These recycling points – kindly donated by Plymouth City Council - will be clearly marked at key locations around the stadium. We would love to see overflowing with good quality re-usable clothing, paired shoes, belts, handbags, jewellery, perfumes, cosmetics and soft toys.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get rid of that unwanted jumper or unworn t-shirt that’s been cluttering your wardrobe for the last twelve months, and you can take heart that your surplus items will be gratefully received by those less fortunate than you. Don’t worry if you do not have time to sort out your unwanted items by this Saturday, as we will be running this scheme throughout the season.
If you would like further information on this recycling venture contact James or Elaine in the Commercial Department at Home Park on 01752 302204.
