SATURDAY'S Devon Expressway Derby has grabbed the imagination of the Green Army like never before, with ticket sales up a massive 500% on the average home game.
With still more than three days until the big all-ticket game, Argyle have already sold enough seats to guarantee a five-figure Home Park crowd.Argyle supporters who have not yet bought their tickets are again being urged to get in quickly to ensure getting the best seats and to avoid possibly disappointment.
Those who have already bought a ticket for the match, which kicks off at 1pm, but who need to collect it from the Ticket Office are also being encouraged not to leave it until the last minute.
A club spokesman said: “There is definitely an added dimension to this derby, with points vital to both sides, and the Green Army seems determined to back John Sheridan and the lads to the hilt.
"We repeat our advice to fans to buy early, come early and get behind the team early.
"Because of Friday's Bank Holiday, the last post-out of tickets will be Tuesday - after that, tickets will need to be collected from Home Park.
"To avoid the prospect of having to queue, it makes sense for those who have to collect tickets to do so as far in advance of the game as possible."
The Home Park Ticket Office will open between 10am-4pm on Good Friday, March 29, and from 8am on match-day, Saturday, March 30. This is in addition to normal office opening hours until 5pm on Thursday.
The match is all-ticket – no cash will be taken the turnstiles.
