Time To Get Excited
15th August 2013
ARGYLE manager John Sheridan has added his voice to the chorus of approval after Pilgrims’ owner James Brent’s £50m regeneration scheme for Higher Home Park Plymouth.
On Thursday, Plymouth City Council's planning committee voted unanimously in favour of development proposals that include a new grandstand for Argyle as part of an ambitious wider £50m plan for Higher Home Park which encompasses an ice rink, a ten-screen cinema, a hotel, and shops and restaurants.Speaking about the architects’ designs for the new main south stand, John said: “If you are not excited by them, there’s something wrong with you – the plans look excellent.
“It’ll make the stadium a brilliant stadium to come and play football in.”
