From The Word 'Go'
9th August 2013
ATTACK. Attack. And, indeed, attack – John Sheridan is not going to die wondering this season.
The Argyle manager has prepared his players to go on the offense when they entertain Fleetwood Town in tomorrow’s opening home game of the new Sky Bet League 2 season, and he will do so for all the Pilgrims’ Home Park fixtures.“We’re at home, and we have got to take the game to Fleetwood,” he said. “That’s what we are going to do to any team we play at home, I don’t care who it is.
“We are going to go for it, and we are going to attack teams, and I want to be on the front foot from the word ‘go’. If we do that, we will cause teams problems.
“But that’s me talking – it’s up to the players.
“Home form is massive. Any team that gets out of this division usually does very well at home and that’s what we’ve got to try to do.”
