He will line up against Evo-Stik League Southern South & West Division Tiverton after impressing in the Pilgrims’ 3-1 victory at Weston-super-Mare on Friday.
“We’ve kept him down for a few more days,” said manager Carl Fletcher. “We’ll see how he gets on.”
Andre possesses a European passport so, should Fletch which to pursue his current interest, there should be little problem.
That is not always the case.
“We tried to get a Spanish lad in on trial,” said Carl, “but we would have had to pay training costs when [he was] young and he had been at Real Madrid for a long period of his youth.
“If he’d come, even though he was a free agent, we would have had to pay lot of money to Real Madrid, which isn’t going to happen.”
