Through the new partnership, Plymouth-based and locally owned company, Need-A-Cab will install a direct line for their services in the reception area, ensuring the Hub is accessible for the Devonport community and neighbouring communities.
Pilgrim Pete and Club Ambassador Gary Sawyer met with Head of Operations, Dave McIntosh, giving him the tour of the developing facility and explaining all the ways their vital support will positively impact the local community.
It would not be possible to achieve our ambitious plans without the generosity of sponsors, the Trust would like to send heartful thanks to Need-A-Cab for becoming an important sponsor for the facility.
The Hub will provide the access, support, and equipment to reduce health inequalities, promote wellbeing, and become a beacon for local community activity provision for generations through a partnership between some of the leading sports and wellbeing brands in the city – Plymouth Argyle, the Trust, Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Albion RFC, and Devonport Community Leisure Limited (DCLL).
Dwain Morgan, Head of Business Development at the Trust, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Dave and the team at Need-A-Cab for supporting us on this journey. Our sponsors play an important role in making sure we deliver the best facility project we can for the local community.
“Through their generous sponsorship, it will allow us to deliver new projects, at no or low-cost, to ensure positive activities are available to all.”
