Bright Solicitors
Argyle Community Trust is delighted to announce a new five-year strategic charity partnership with long-time supporters and friends of the Trust – Bright Solicitors. The partnership builds upon the success of the previous Charity of the Year collaboration, reflecting the Plymouth Law firms shared commitment to making a positive impact on the local community.
The initial partnership proved immensely successful, with both organisations working together to support various community initiatives.
Recognising these positive outcomes and the potential to do even more, both organisations are proud to extend this partnership over the next five years.
This long-term commitment underscores Bright Solicitor’s dedication to fostering community wellbeing and addressing pressing social issues.
As part of this partnership, Bright Solicitors will be actively involved in supporting the Trust’s various projects and events throughout the next five years.
A key focus of this partnership will be support for the new Brickfields community hub – a development which will provide access, support, and equipment to reduce health inequalities, promote wellbeing, and become a beacon for local community activity provision for generations.
Bright Solicitor’s dedication to corporate social responsibility aligns perfectly with the Trust’s mission, visions and values. Through the partnership, both organisations will foster a shared sense of purpose to effect meaningful change.
Henry Lowson, Partner at Bright Solicitors, said: “At Bright Solicitors, we understand the importance of addressing the needs of the elderly, particularly those experiencing isolation and loneliness.
“Our support will enable the Trust to create programmes and activities specifically designed to engage the elderly, providing them with opportunities to socialise, learn, and stay active.
“We are especially proud to fund new sessions at Brickfields that will help individuals who have recently experienced bereavement.
“These sessions will focus on helping participants reconnect with others and form new friendships, providing a crucial support system during a challenging time.”
As part of the commitment, Bright Solicitors will be the proud sponsors of a multi-use room at the Brickfields community hub.
This versatile space will host a range of existing projects, such as compassionate cafés, and warm spaces, and will also be the launchpad for new initiatives aimed at reducing health inequalities.
Mr Lowson continues: “By sponsoring this space, we aim to create a welcoming environment where community members can come together, support one another, and access essential services.”
Dwain Morgan, Trust Head of Business and Impact, said: “We very much look forward to continuing this partnership and are excited to welcome Bright Solicitors staff to Brickfields. Our team will actively participate in delivering these much-needed community initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.”
Together, Bright Solicitors and Argyle Community Trust are poised to make a lasting impact on the Plymouth community with a partnership that will bring about positive change, fostering a more connected, supported, and vibrant community for all.
