Supported by Bond Timber
With our Sky Bet League One season off to a strong start, we would like to take a moment to thank our partners and sponsors for their outstanding support, particularly in the coronavirus impacted period.
One such partner, Bond Timber, has recently extended its advertising deal with the Pilgrims, adding an extra stadium ground-board to their portfolio with Argyle. The timber specialist has a long-standing relationship with the club, having served as the club’s kit partner between 2011 and 2014.
Bond Timber is one of a number of local and national partners stepping up their partnership with Argyle during the 21/22 campaign. A mixture of excitement about fans’ return to Home Park, the enhanced digital media offering provided by our new website, streaming service (Argyle TV), and app launch have seen unprecedented interest in commercial partnerships at the Theatre of Greens.
And that excitement has extended to attendances, too, with Home Park seeing over 10,000 supporters at each of our opening six Sky Bet League One games of the season, with an average of over 11,000 - the best since the Pilgrims were in the Championship in the late 2000s.
Argyle’s Head of Commercial Operations, James Greenacre, said: “I am thrilled to see the number of partners stepping up their support of the club in 21/22, and I think it underpins the confidence the local business community has in what we are trying to achieve at Argyle.
“Bond Timber has been a partner of the club for a long time, through the ups and the downs, and we are excited to be able to provide better than ever exposure for their home-grown brand in the season ahead.”
Bond Timber’s manager, Shaun Getson, said “We are delighted to be able to continue to strengthen our support for Argyle, after recently meeting James and visiting the new Mayflower Grandstand we were very impressed and proud to be supporting the Pilgrims at such an exciting time.”
