Christmas Carol Concert Cancelled

We have regretfully taken the decision to cancel Monday night’s Christmas Carol Concert at Home Park due to weather and conditions around the stadium.

Over the weekend, freezing temperatures have left areas around Home Park icy and a potential risk to visitors. Given the popularity of the carol service amongst children and the elderly in the community, the club’s risk assessment concluded that the conditions were not suitable to proceed.

This decision was not taken lightly, and we are very disappointed not to be able to host this popular community event. However, the health and safety of staff and visitors to Home Park must always be our priority.

Club staff will continue to work diligently to prepare the stadium and surface ahead of Tuesday night’s scheduled Papa Johns Trophy tie against AFC Wimbledon, and we will provide a further update in due course.
