Adobe Women's FA Cup Preview | Poole Town (H)
Argyle’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup campaign gets under way on Sunday when the Pilgrims face Poole Town at Bolitho Park.
Plymouth Parkway's home (St Peters Rd, Plymouth, PL5 3JH) will host the first-round tie, with the game kicking off at 1pm.
Parking at Bolitho Park is extremely limited, so taking public transport to reach the ground is strongly recommended.
Poole Town currently sit ninth in the Regen Arable South West Regional Women's Football League, the fifth tier of women’s football, after losing five of their six league games and winning just one.
The Greens reached the fourth round of the competition last season, beating Ilminster Town and AFC Stoneham, before a thrilling victory over Oxford United in round three, following a penalty shoot-out. The run ended in round four, with a defeat by Nottingham Forest.
Both the club house and burger van will be open for food and drinks at Bolitho Park.
Tickets are available on argyletickets.com and on the gate. All Argyle season-ticket holders can gain free entry to the fixture by showing their season-ticket card on the gates.
If Argyle progress to the second round of the competition, the fixture will take place on Sunday, 24 November.
